| General FAQ |
- I forgot my password. How do I access my charts?
- Why should I pay for charts?
Consider it as an investment to improve your returns in trading. A cost of 10 pips per month -- or even as little as 2 pips on a 5 lot trade -- is a tiny fraction of a profitable trade that can be easily recouped.
Given that the most sophisticated and robust charting applications only cost $100 per month -- 10 pips on a standard XE.com Forex Speculation Trading account -- a purchase of charts should not be viewed as a purchase, but rather as an investment: the 10 pips you spend per month on a charting package can easily be recouped and profited from by just a single winning trade that you place based on the analysis you have done via your charts.

- How much do the charts cost?
XE.com offers 3 Charts and Graphs packages:
Advanced and Premium Charts packages offer a 7-day free trial. See below to learn more about the differences between Free, Advanced and Premium charts.
- Do I have to pay for the 7-day charting trial?
The 7-day trials are free. We do require user to submit a credit card for a pre-approval, the credit card is not charged, but a pre-approval process is initiated.
If you are using a credit card linked to your personal savings or checking account, then the bank may allocate that money, and place it on hold, please contact your issuing credit card bank to learn more about this. This pre-approval will remain until the pre-approval is either voided (you cancel the service by emailing chartcancel@xe.com before the end of the 7-day trial) or charged (you purchase the service).
- How do I cancel my services?
If you wish to cancel, you must send an email to chartcancel@xe.com. You will receive and email confirmation within 1-business day. The subscription is month to month, with automatic renewal, requiring 3 days prior to your renewal date for cancellation. We have inserted the Payment/Cancellation Policy for your reference:
Monthly Membership Cancellation Policy
XE.com Premium and Advanced memberships are billed once a month. You are pre-billed (non-refundable) for the month of service. If you choose to cancel before the end of the month's billing, credit will not be issued. Service will remain active through the end of the pre-billed monthly period. Each billing period starts from the same day of the month that your credit card is initially charged; this is called your "renewal day." The credit card payment process is facilitated by the service of Authorize.net, and the charge is made on the first day of each billing period or renewal day. The membership will be automatically renewed each renewal day unless you notify us to cancel at least three (3) business days prior to your upcoming renewal day.
Please send your cancellation request with your user name to chartcancel@xe.com.
EXAMPLE:
If you paid for service on January 15th, you will automatically be billed on February 15th, and then March 15th, etc. If you choose to cancel before your next renewal date, you would need to do so via e-mail by the 12th of the month (or earlier).
NOTE:
After your cancellation has been confirmed, you will still be able to use your paid service up until your renewal day. We sincerely hope you are satisfied with our services. If for any reason you are not satisfied, please contact our customer support at charts@xe.com so that we can correct the problems you may have encountered right away.
Quarterly Payment/Cancellation Policy
Quarterly Payment (3 months of service) is available for those users paying by wiring funds or check. The quarterly payment plan is non-refundable. At the end of the paid service (approximately 2-weeks prior to completion of the paid service), an email notification will be sent to alert the user and offer the ability to renew. If a renewal notice is not received by date of cancellation, the account will automatically be closed with the option to reinstate at a later date.
Please send your renewal request with your user ID to charts@xe.com.

- What are some of the advantages of FX trading over equity trading?
The FX market is the largest financial market in the world. With around $2 trillion daily average turnover, it offers you infinite liquidity.
The FX market is a global market, where money moves in and out continuously, 24 hours a day. You can respond to breaking news immediately and your order being filled instantly is guaranteed.
There is no such thing as the bull or bear market on FX: Currencies are traded in pairs and the potential for profits exits as long as there is movement in the exchange rate.
High leverage: XE.com Forex Speculation enjoy a 100:1 leverage, which allows you to execute trades up to $100,000 with an initial margin of only $100.
Low transaction cost: In general, the bid/ask spread in a FX transaction is less than 1/10 as wide as in a stock transaction, which typically includes a 1/8 wide spread. In addition, you pay NO commission if you trade with XE.com Forex Speculation!
Information is equally accessible to everyone and insider trading is less important than in any other market. In contrast, professional traders and institutions in the stock market always have the advantage of early access to important corporate information such as earning estimates and press releases.

| Technical FAQ |
- How do I access the chart manual?

- Netscape version 6.2 or newer

XE.com Free and Advanced Charts run on Java applets that are compatible with Sun Java VM1.1 and above. The browsers that XE.com Charts and Graphs is compatible with (mentioned above) all support Sun Java VM1.1. If you are using a browser with a lower version, please upgrade yours at the links below. XE.com Charts and Graphs will continue its efforts to support a broader range of browsers.
- What type of operating system is required to access XE.com Charts and Graphs?
Free, Advanced and or Premium charts require at least 128MB memory, though more is better if you will need to open many charts at the same time.
Free, Advanced and or Premium Charts require at least CPU: PIII 450 Mhz.
Free and Advanced Charts are Internet-based services. There is no special operating system requirement. Premium requires operating system of Windows 95 or higher.

- I am using Netscape, why am I getting the blank screen with no charts showing?
Your Internet connection could be connected from behind a firewall or proxy. We suggest you consider consulting your network administrator for further advice. We have found that the following steps will make XE.com Free and Advanced Charts work under proxy settings:
- Close Netscape if it is currently running.
- Launch a text editor such as Notepad or Word Pad.
- Select Open from the File menu drop-down.
- At the bottom of the dialog box, change the "Files of Type" selection to "*All files" or "*All documents".
- Using the directory tree, locate the file called "prefs.js" usually located in your C drive under ProgramFiles\Netscape\users\username.
- Select the file and open it.
- Scroll to the bottom and type (exactly) the following:
user_pref("security.lower_java_network_security_by_trusting_proxies", true);
- Click Save. This automatically overwrites the old file.
- Launch Netscape.
- I am using AOL, and unable to see any charts. Why?
